Scenic Location: Nestled between the charming Old Town of Rust and the peaceful beauty of the surroundings, the hotel offers a tranquil retreat far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Noisy Rooms: The room door failed to isolate the noise from the corridor, resulting in some unwanted disturbances in the evening.

Good ambience of hotel, beautiful and interesting town, good food and wine, interesting lake and bird surroundings.
lack of information about access to facilities for seeing birds and information about them.

Seehotel Rust is very nice to stay for short weekend break. Location is just perfect for biking and any lake related activities. Food at the restaurant was great (so no worries for half board). Rust is very nice small city with beautifull (even small) old town area, good restaurants and wine bars.

As women traveling alone, we loved the unbeatable location and excellent spa facilities at the hotel. the swimming pool was fantastic with very warm water, and the outside lake area was spacious and not crowded, with plenty of sunbeds. We were delighted that they provided gluten-free bread upon request, and they even paid attention to our son's birthday and invited the whole family for a birthday drink. the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a wide variety of options, including made-to-order eggs that you could witness being cooked. the soft-boiled eggs were actually soft and warm, which is rare in hotels. the hotel also had many electricity outlets in the room, which was very helpful for all our electronic devices. the location was also great for running and cycling, with a wide choice of free bikes to rent, including ones with child-seats. the hotel had a small but well-equipped gym, and there were many nice wineries and restaurants nearby.
Felt at home instantly, no complaints.

We dediced on a little break for our wedding anniversary. I mentioned this in our Booked.net notes and they gave us a fantastic room. They are about to renovate the whole hotel and so they gave us one of their new show rooms - which was absolutley stunning with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff were excellent, the food was divine - only good things to say about it - will definitely be back.... So all the reviews you read about the rooms being tired - this will no longer be the case - do hope they don't hike their prices up too much... As now it is really good value for money.

The tennis courts, both indoor and outdoor, were a hit with our family. We enjoyed playing matches together and it was a great activity for both the kids and adults. The hotel's surroundings were also perfect for hiking and biking, allowing us to explore the beautiful scenery of the area. , the boat tours offered by the property were a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the lake. It was a fun-filled and active family vacation!
My wife says that it would have been great if there were more family-friendly activities for younger children.

the location by the lake was stunning, providing serene walks and beautiful scenery especially around the pier. We enjoyed good wines and delicious Austrian cuisine in the nearby restaurants. the staff was fantastic and the room was spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom and a balcony with lake view. the breakfast was tasty and substantial, and we were pleased with facilities like the wellness center and indoor tennis courts.
One minor setback was the limited parking space during busy times which caused inconvenience.

During my business trip, I appreciated the fresh fruit and eggs made to order at breakfast, as well as the friendly staff who quickly refilled empty trays. the location near the lake and possibility for a quiet escape were also appreciated, along with the many electrical outlets in the room.
The rusted hardware and dark furniture in the room were not appealing, and the noise from the gardener's tractor during a supposed relaxing moment in the garden was disruptive. Service staff also entered the room without warning, which was uncomfortable.

During my stay at this hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque view of the lake from the hotel's garden. The location in the town was also ideal, providing easy access to transportation and the city center. The cleanliness of all areas of the hotel was exceptional, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were plentiful, leaving no room for dissatisfaction.
There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and a beautiful balcony that provided a stunning view of the surroundings. The breakfast was fantastic with a range of fresh fruits, bread, and pastries. We also appreciated the free coffee and cakes in the afternoon.
The biggest drawback was the lack of English instructions on some things. We struggled to order gluten-free food as the options were limited and the menu was entirely in German.

The guestrooms at Seehotel Rust are simply fantastic! They have everything a budget traveler like me could ask for, including free WiFi, an air-conditioned environment, and a laptop-friendly workspace. It's like they knew exactly what I needed to stay connected and comfortable during my stay!
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the special lighting in the showers. It's just not my style, but I can see how others might enjoy it.
